FAQs

What will my donation contribute towards?

We are fundraising for a special horse that will open horse riding to more people in our East London Communities, helping transform lives. This is our top priority right now. We have found the horse we have been looking for, strong, kind and calm, and have already raised two thirds of the funds but need the final £5,000 to buy her and cover the other initial costs while she settles in.

Donations will also go towards:

  • funding riding and horse care sessions for children and adults with disabilities; and

  • Special equipment to make riding and getting onto a horse easier for people who have a disability.

Can I get a receipt?

Receipts are emailed automatically after your donation is processed.

Why Your Support Matters

Our Goal
Get Involved

Join us in making a difference. Each person fuels change and hope every day. Get in contact to discuss how you can volunteer.

Our Mission

We want the magic of horses to be available to all. Riding and being with horses brings well-being, builds fitness, confidence, and helps mental health. For people with disabilities it can be life changing

We recognise that there are people in our community who cannot access riding but who could benefit from it the most. Due to the smaller size of the horses, our local riding stables has a rider weight limit less than the average weight of adult men in the UK, and close to the average for women, so a lot of people miss out.

To raise funds to find and bring in a large horse, perfect for carrying well built teenagers and adult riders including riders with disabilities. The horse will be well-schooled, kind and calm, to take people from their first ride through to advanced activities like jumping.

Our Target

Is £14,000. We have raised nearly two thirds of this between our RDA group and the community group Aldersbrook Stables Community CIC, with the support of Wanstead Community Riding Stables CIC.

Community Support

We are grateful to the support recently received, and for every person who can spare some generosity towards our mission.
